Hello Dear Shareholders,

We all took a chance and created

an amazing exhibition and installation – Thank you!

The window display of tickets was not only beautiful, but highly “attractive” and drew a  record number of people into the A.P.E. Gallery.

Our scratching is complete and we have the tally you have been waiting for:

Our total winnings are: $2,125  out of $3,460 invested
Total loss (or gain for the Mass Lottery) is: $1,335
Each $20 share is now worth $12.28.
How to collect your share(s):

On October 19, 2013  from 10 am to Noon we will be issuing shareholders checks at Rao’s Coffee and Cafe, in Thornes Marketplace 150 Main Street, Northampton, MA 01060.
The cafe is located on the main level and parking is free in the garage for the first hour. You can send a representative in your stead – but be sure they bring your share form along. NOTICE: This is the only time that share winnings will be distributed. If you can’t be present or are unable to send a representative, then your winnings go to the charity of our choice (as stated in your share form).

Some additional fun facts about the show:

The biggest ticket pay off was $150 off of a $5 ticket

In the “Prize Every Time” exhibition the piggy bank piece called “Be the Change” took in some cash for particular causes:
Survival Center gets: $36.84
The Northampton Arts Council (who also helped us fund this show) get: $14.82
Larry’s veterinary fund (he tangled with a porcupine a day before the show) gets: $14.75
Artist’s snack fund: 12.60 (of which we are enjoying as we write this to you tonight)
Gamblers Anonymous: $5.81

Special thanks to the Bearded Lady who gave us these chants:

“Hollar for a dollar!” and “Winner winner chicken dinner!”

Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns.
Again, thank you for your part in this community art project.

What a great night scratching away in the window of the A.P.E. Gallery – like fish in a fishbowl.
Thanks for all who turned out – word on the street was was “fun”.
We super underestimated how long it would take us to get through this. We’ll keep scratching over the weekend (and beyond if ness) and keep you posted on the final tally – when ever that may be. So far we are looking at $599 worth of tickets were scratched and a total of $558 was won tonight. We are almost breaking even at this point! Still hoping for a BIG JUICY WIN – Y’all keep your fingers crossed!
xo,
Amy
